A downloadable game for Windows
***WARNING*** The grapple wrapping algorithm isn't 100% yet, it won't crash the game, but if it takes longer than an eighth of a second he grapple breaks. If this occurs the grapple WILL recharge completely, sorry!
There STILL ISN'T an objective in the demo, please play it and let me know what you think about the movement mechanics. Unless it wasn't obvious enough the movement is VERY inspired by Titanfall, including wallrunning, manteling, air strafing, bunny hopping, and a grapple.
I used textures from the one and only Kenney.
There's an in-game tutorial section that covers the controls, but here's a quick rundown:
- [Mouse] Look
- [WASD] Move
- [Shift] Sprint (auto-sprint enabled by default)
- [Space] Jump & Double-Jump
- Hold [Left Control] to Crouch/Slide
- [C] to toggle Crouch/Slide
- [Escape] to Pause (can choose to return to last spawn point from here)
- [Left Mouse Button] to launch & retract the grapple
Sliding is the best way to maintain your momentum. Try bunnyhopping while sliding to go very fast!
